Brand Attachment Q (Product Q) examines overall brand or company appeal and imagery among demographic groups, and users and non-users of the specific brand. Brand Attachment Q measures the "Emotional Attachment" to a brand. These studies are used by a number of companies as a low-cost tracking system.

Brand Attachment Q studies are conducted as follows:

  • Studies are fielded in the spring (May) and fall (November) each year.
  • Each study includes 36-60 brand or company logos on a "share-the-cost" basis.
  • Each study is based on 1,800 adult interviews, representative of the Continental U.S. population.
  • An optional ranking of 175-200 brands is available. This All Brand Ranking Report is an ideal tool when searching outside traditional categories for joint-promotion partners.
